Da liegt er, reckt seinen Kopf in die Luft. Scheinbar ewig und unveränderlich, der Seelöwe. Er liegt da am Rande eines Beckens im Tierpark Dälhölzli in Bern. Ich fands spassig zu bemerken, wie einige Touristen krampfhaft nach dem Tier suchten, das ich offensichtlich in diesem Gehege gesehen habe… warum auch sollte ich sonst fotografieren? 🙂

There he lies, reaching into the air with his nose. Seemingly eternal and immutable, the sea lion. He lies there on the edge of a basin in Dälhölzli zoological gardens in Bern. I found it funny to notice how a couple tourists searched frantically for the animal which I obviously saw in this enclosure … why else would I take pictures? 🙂

Flamingo flamenco – the artists

Der Tanz ist vorbei. Der Saal wurde ruhig. Und dann tauchten sie beide noch mal auf, standen da, liessen sich feiern und schauten mit eben dieser sonderbaren Distanz ins Publikum, wie das nur entrückte Flamenco-Tänzer tun können. Gockel und Diva… stolz, unbeugsam, selbstbewusst und doch so zerbrechlich und sensibel wirkend.

The dance is over. The dance hall becomes quiet. And then they both appeared on stage again, standing there, getting celebrated and with this peculiar, estranged look, they gazed into the audience, as only ethereal flamenco dancer can do. A “cocky rooster” and a “Diva” … proud, stubborn, confident and yet so fragile and sensitive acting.

The salt miner… Ein Plexiglas-Dach eines Gartenhauses mit Tautropfen. Der Arbeiter wurde natürlich in die Szene kopiert.

Der Tanz war vorüber, die Bühne konnte langsam wieder zu Ruhe kommen. Doch gleich danach brandete der Applaus der Menge in den Raum… Diese Szene zeigt den Flamingo Flamenco, kurz nachdem der letzte Schritt des Flamencos getanzt wurde.

The dance was over, the stage was slowly coming back to rest. But immediately after, the applause of the crowd flooded the room … This scene shows the Flamingo Flamenco , shortly after the last step of the dance happened.
